Tísek offers several distinct points of interest for planning your trip: the listed village church, two cycling routes of different overall lengths, a marked hiking trail with destinations in both directions, and the Jamník fishing waters. You can choose your focus depending on whether you want to include culture, a particular cycling route, a hike or fishing. For cycling, the total distances are available for comparison; for hiking, the compass directions and named destinations provide orientation. You can weigh the different options according to your interests without turning them into a fixed daily itinerary.

Church and village character

The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius is a listed landmark and a prominent feature of Tísek’s village character. Archbishop Přečan consecrated the church on 22 July 1928. The village character and the consecration connect two distinct aspects: the building shapes the village, while the precisely dated event places its history in time. For a stay that includes culture as well as outdoor activities, the church offers a distinct point of interest. If you would like to combine culture and outdoor activities, you can consider the church alongside the cycling and hiking options.

Cycling: two route lengths

The total lengths are specified for comparison: the Bílovecko–Dolní louky route passes through Tísek and is 28 km long. Bílovecko–Kolem 18. poledníku also passes through Tísek and covers 47 km. The difference is 19 km, providing a clear basis for comparing the tours. These figures refer to the length of each route, not to a section within the village. If you want to plan around a shorter or longer total distance, you can compare the two options directly. Check the local signage before cycling.

Hiking in two directions

For the Jamník–Údolí Niva hiking trail, the direction is the key distinction: the yellow-marked trail leads south from Tísek to Bílovec and north to the trail junction at Panský Mlýn near Kyjovice. The named destinations help you plan your outing in the direction you prefer. Bílovec is the named endpoint to the south, and the trail junction near Kyjovice is the endpoint to the north. This lets you base your choice on a specific destination rather than treating hiking and cycling as similar activities. Check the markings on site before setting out.

Fishing at Jamník

The Jamník fishing waters are designated as non-trout fishing ground ČRS No. 471 145. There is a clear requirement for visiting anglers: they may fish there only with a fishing permit issued by the Tísek Municipal Office. If you are travelling from outside the area to fish, check with the municipality about obtaining a permit before your trip, and review the applicable rules before fishing. Both the fishing-permit requirements and the classification of the fishing ground may change. The classification does not exempt visiting anglers from the required permit, so take this into account before choosing Jamník as a fishing destination.
