If you are looking for accommodation in Bílá, you can plan your stay around your main activity: skiing, mountain biking or hiking. The ski area offers red FIS runs and blue family runs; there are also one-way trails on Zbojnická Mountain, a seasonal summer park and several trails with different features. For planning your trip, it is therefore helpful to first decide which activity you want to focus on and in which season.
Ski runs, bike park and summer park
The Bílá ski area has red-rated FIS runs and blue family runs. If you are coming to ski, you can use this distinction to help choose your destination. Check seasonal operating conditions before your trip. The SingleTrails Bílá are located on Zbojnická Mountain: the bike park offers one-way trails for mountain bikers. Access to the trails and their conditions are also seasonal. Ski runs and the bike park cater to different activities, so each should be planned for the appropriate season.
The Dětský letní park adds to the summer offering with a water world, a climbing centre, go-karts, aquazorbing and a tubing track. If you want these attractions to be a key part of your stay, take seasonal operations into account when planning. This makes it easy to distinguish between the activities described and decide whether to focus on ski runs, mountain bike trails or the summer park attractions.
Hiking trails with different features
The K Evropskému rozvodí (Bobek) route starts at the upper station of the Zbojník chairlift. Along the route, you can enjoy views of the Beskydy Mountains as well as the Slovak mountain ranges of Malá Fatra, Velká Fatra and Sulovské skály. Bílanská promenáda has a different character: it follows the river and offers numerous climbing and play structures for children. Maxův klauz is a five-kilometre one-way route.
When comparing these trails, focus on their specific differences: the Bobek route starts at a lift’s upper station and offers mountain views; the Promenáda runs along the river and has play structures; and Maxův klauz has a stated one-way length. This lets you choose a route based on the feature that matters most to you.
Enjoy nature and respect restrictions
The Pramen Smradlavá sulphur spring contains hydrogen sulphide-enriched water. It is located near the Velký Smradlavý stream on the Bílá–Beskyd–Bumbálka route. Do not make assumptions about the water conditions without checking local information.
The Salajka National Nature Reserve is closed to the public. However, it can be viewed well from a yellow-marked hiking trail from Bumbálka to the Salajka forester’s lodge. The trail runs along the reserve’s western edge for about 500 metres. This makes it possible to view the reserve from the trail, while the reserve itself remains closed.
Getting around and travelling there
