The Church of the Holy Trinity has been a parish church since 1344 and is a Gothic building dating from the 14th century. It was restored in a Neo-Gothic style in 1896. Above the portal is a relief depicting Christ’s head. The dates distinguish the medieval building phase from the much later restoration; the relief adds a specific detail at the portal to the building’s history. The term “Neo-Gothic” indicates a later design, not the period when the church was built.
The creation and later installation of the statue of the Virgin Mary of Svatá Hora should also be distinguished. The statue was probably created in the early 19th century; a copy was installed in Mlečice village square in June 1998. The municipality’s founding year is considered to be 1227. Hiking and Events
Mlečická ťapka is a recurring hiking event. Two routes were available for the third edition, announced for 2025; routes and dates may change.
