When looking for accommodation in Højslev, it helps to first decide what matters most to you: architectural history, walking or cycling routes, and time outdoors each offer a different focus.

Hjerteparken offers space to relax, play and spend time together. Its focus differs from choosing a route length: these three activities take centre stage here.
Bronze Age history and views at Bruddal Høje
Bruddal Høje is crowned by three distinctive Bronze Age burial mounds. From there, you can enjoy impressive views across the Limfjord landscape, with Skive Fjord and Skive in the distance. Bruddal Høje also has a gate into the enclosure, as well as tables and benches; these facilities make it possible to have a picnic in a historic setting. The burial mounds, views and picnic facilities offer different highlights: Bronze Age history, landscape and a place to rest. Check the condition of the tables and benches before your visit.
Church and regional history
Højslev Kirke is a Romanesque church with a nave, chancel and apse built of ashlar masonry, that is, dressed stone blocks. A rare Romanesque gravestone is set into the west wall of the porch. In 1581, a burial chapel for Bjørn Kaas and his wife Christence Rotfeld was established in the church. Højslev Kirke was also the parish church of Stårupgård manor. In addition to its Romanesque architecture, the church features a distinctive detail in the porch and a historic connection to the manor.
The historic Staarup Hovedgaard lies in the landscape around Højslev Kirkeby. A classic example of the Danish manor tradition, it connects buildings with the surrounding landscape; the manor is set in scenic surroundings by the Limfjord. Graverhuset offers insight into life and work in the region over the years. These subjects provide different perspectives on regional history: the manor tradition and landscape, as well as life and work over time.
There is a krolf course in the Højslev Kirkeby area, where outdoor activity and community come together. As availability may change, check before making plans. This gives you another activity to choose from alongside walks and cycling routes.
