Semlin offers several ways to enjoy a stay: water and sailing, cycling and walking routes, as well as village history and events.

Water, cycling and activity

Semlin is one of the tourist-oriented villages in the 10 km-long Lake Hohennauen–Ferchesar lake district, which is connected to the Havel and Lake Witzker. The Semlin swimming area at Bauerndeich on Lake Hohennauen is a designated EU bathing site; its water quality is checked regularly. Half-timbered church, monument and annual events

The Semlin half-timbered church is simple and typical of village churches in the Havelland region. It was built in 1730–32. The Semlin Witches’ Monument is described as the first monument of its kind in the new federal states. The two landmarks offer different points of interest: the church represents a regional architectural style and has a clearly specified construction date, while the monument is notable for its distinctive designation.

The annual calendar includes the Semlin Summer Festival and the Semlin 3-Lakes Run, which is also held every year.
