Rielasingen-Worblingen is located in the volcanic landscape of the Hegau; the Radolfzeller Aach flows through the town. Art and local history are just as important to planning a trip here as local hiking, cycling and mountain biking tours. The town is also close to Lake Constance, Switzerland and the Black Forest; the surrounding areas offer opportunities for excursions and leisure activities. This lets you distinguish between exploring the town itself and activities in the wider region.

Sculpture Trail along the Radolfzeller Aach

The sculpture trail was created in 1998 for celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the partnership with Nogent-sur-Seine. Ten artists from Germany, France and Italy took part. Modern, abstract and realistic sculptures made of wood, stone and iron line the trail. When viewing them, you can compare them according to two criteria: style and material. The trail follows the Radolfzeller Aach. As the trail surface may change, check the conditions before your visit.

Worblingen’s Architectural and Village History

St. Nicholas Church in Worblingen was built in 1853 and is considered the earliest example of neo-Gothic architecture in the district of Konstanz. The Old Castle in Worblingen is protected as a cultural monument under Section 28. The Worblingen Village Museum is devoted to historical village life and presents special exhibitions each year. The three themes can be distinguished as follows: the church represents architectural history, the castle represents monument protection, and the museum represents the history of village life. As the special exhibition topics change, you can check which exhibition is currently on display beforehand.

Tours along the Aach, Rosenegg and Schienerberg

Local hiking, cycling and mountain biking tours follow the Aach, run around Rosenegg and cross the Schienerberg. To plan your trip, you can use your preferred way of getting around as your first point of reference: on foot, by bike or by mountain bike. This helps you keep both the type of activity and the route in mind.
