With a wine-themed trail, a chapel on the grounds of a historic cemetery, and a circular route along the Logne and Boulogne, Corcoué-Sur-Logne offers a range of ways to spend your stay. Routes range from the footpath between Bagatelle and La Benâte to the 12.3-kilometre circuit; environmental education and nature outings are also available. When planning, it is worth first considering whether you would rather focus on cultural heritage, wine growing, water, or nature watching.

Culture Trails and History

The heritage trail can be explored on foot or by bicycle and takes visitors through the tangible and intangible heritage, landscapes, history, and people of the commune of Corcoué-Sur-Logne. The vineyard trail has a narrower thematic focus: it follows a footpath between Bagatelle and La Benâte. Its 13 information panels explain the influence of wine growing on the landscape and local culture. This broad view of life in the commune differs from a focused look at a single cultural legacy.

Another historic landmark is the Chapelle Notre-Dame la Blanche. It was built in the 15th century on the grounds of a large Merovingian cemetery. The chapel and cemetery thus point to different historical periods at the same site.

Water and Landscapes

The Maison de l’Eau et des Paysages brings together a scale model of a valley, a discovery trail, and a landscape interpretation area; two educational rooms round out the facilities. The Maison also offers activities that give visitors the chance to discover the environment. A range of formats is therefore available for exploring landscapes and the environment.

Every Wednesday in summer, the Jeux Eau'Lympides open the Maison for a fun, educational trail exploring water and its uses. Arrangements may vary, so check the latest dates before your visit.

Circular Route and Nature Activities

The Circuit entre Logne et Boulogne is a moderately difficult 12.3-kilometre circular route, with a stated duration of 3 hours and 6 minutes. It follows the banks of the Boulogne and the Logne and offers views of the commune’s manor houses and castles. The river landscape and the built heritage provide two distinct points of interest. As route details may change, check the latest information before setting out.

A shorter option is the 1.6-kilometre Parcours santé. It starts at the Saint-Jean bridge on Rue de la Poste. Stations and explanatory panels accompany exercises such as stretching, jumping, and balance games; the route is intended for athletes and families. Its length and exercise stations make it quite different from the longer circular route along the rivers.

Ornithological and botanical outings are offered throughout the year in partnership with the CAPL, giving visitors the chance to get to know nature. Activities focused on birds and plants complement the routes and themes related to wine growing, water, and history.

To reach the Pierre Folle, follow the route from La Benâte towards Saint-Étienne-de-Mer-Morte, taking the yellow-marked path to the Forêt de l’Oisillière. The Pierre Folle is on private property; bear this in mind before including it in your plans.
