Trails and observation tower
Rudíkov is connected to the surrounding villages by cycling and hiking trails. One specific route runs from Třebíč to the Rudíkov observation tower: it is 16 km long and goes via Ptáčov (4.5 km), Kobylinec (7.5 km) and Nárameč (11.3 km).
The cycling route No. 7, “Podhoráckem and Třebíčsko Nature Park,” which passes through Rudíkov, is a separate route. You therefore have different reference points when choosing a route: a 16 km connection from Třebíč to the observation tower and a named cycling route through the village.
The viewing point at the Rudíkov observation tower is reached by climbing 45 steps. From there, you can enjoy a view of the Vysočina countryside to the southeast.
Church and chapel
The church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul is Rudíkov’s landmark. It was extended from around 1801 onwards and acquired its present-day Neoclassical form. Its consecration is also historically significant: it is considered one of the oldest church consecrations of this kind and is possibly dated to the 11th or 12th century. This dating refers to the consecration; the extension and present-day form belong to a later building phase.
Another point of cultural and historical interest is the Boží muka chapel. It is a state-protected monument and was built in the French style after 1803. For the church, the points of interest are its Neoclassical form and its consecration, tentatively dated to the 11th or 12th century; for the chapel, the specific features are its construction after 1803, French style and protected status.
