Všeradice offers several ways to explore local history, as well as trails through the landscape. The museum focuses on M. D. Rettigová and life in Czech villages; the synagogue and church add a historical perspective through their building phases and surviving details. Outdoors, you can choose between a nature trail with information about its length and stations and a route with views towards Český kras. This lets you focus your stay on culture, exercise or a mix of both. The topics below can help you decide what interests you before you look for accommodation in Všeradice.

Museum and Local History

The “Galerie a muzeum M. D. Rettigové” has an interactive exhibition about the life and work of M. D. Rettigová. It also displays contemporary furniture from her time and historical exhibits. The “České vesnice” exhibition takes a different approach: it explores the history of agriculture and documents everyday life in Czech villages in the 19th and 20th centuries. The two perspectives sit side by side: the biography of an individual and the history of rural work and life. If cultural history is of particular interest to you, these topics can provide a theme for your stay.

The synagogue in Všeradice was built of wood in 1817 and rebuilt in stone in 1829. Several old wooden benches with painted seat numbers have been preserved. The Czechoslovak Hussite Church acquired the synagogue building in 1937 and adapted it in 1938. The construction sequence, preserved furnishings and later adaptation mark different periods in the building’s history.

The protected complex of the “kostel sv. Bartolomeje” church includes an ossuary and a perimeter wall with gates. A church was built in Všeradice in the 14th century; the oldest surviving bell from a church in the village was cast in 1497. The synagogue and church complex thus offer different perspectives on architectural heritage: the synagogue’s history includes a sequence of construction and later adaptation, while the church’s setting and individual historical features also form part of the picture.

Nature Trail, Views and Surroundings

The “Naučná stezka Střecha Českého krasu” nature trail connects Všeradice and Tetín and passes over Bacín Mountain. It has eight stations and is about nine kilometres long. Its starting point is approximately 0.5 kilometres from Všeradice railway station. Its length, number of stations and starting-point location give you practical details for planning your day. As the route guide is older, check trail conditions and transport connections locally before setting out.

The “Vintířova stezka” offers fine views towards Český kras on the section through Všeradice and Vinařice. Here, the views are the main attraction; the nature trail, by contrast, is defined by its length, stations and connection to Tetín. Route details can change, so it is worth checking the latest information before setting out.

The Koněprusy Caves, a separate destination nearby, are 8.5 kilometres from Všeradice. They contain archaeological finds and a medieval counterfeiter’s workshop. This adds a distinct archaeological focus to the local history and hiking options, without the caves needing to be part of any of the routes mentioned.

More Local Highlights

The minigolf park at the “Dvůr Všerad” complex includes an arboretum with about 1,900 species of shrubs and plants. If you are interested in green spaces, you will find this botanical feature here alongside the minigolf park.

Local products include “Všerada” beer and spirits and liqueurs made in Všeradice, offered by “Zámecký pivovar” and the “U Paní Magdalény” inn. The selection of products may change. In 2026, the “Všeradická pouť” pilgrimage festival is scheduled, as in previous years, to take place at its traditional location in front of the post office on the square. If you would like to combine your trip with the festival, check the specific event dates.
