Lammhult is home to the centre of the Furniture Kingdom, Möbelriket, which officially opened in 1998. The town also offers a modern-style church with echoes of older architecture, as well as opportunities to enjoy the water and get active. When planning your stay, you can distinguish between places of interest in town and individual destinations in the surrounding area.
Möbelriket, the Church and Local History
Lammhult is the centre of the Furniture Kingdom, Möbelriket. Its official opening in 1998 gives the furniture theme a specific historical reference. Lammhults kyrka offers a different cultural highlight: built in the 1960s, it has a modern design with echoes of older architecture. A furniture theme and a 20th-century church building thus offer two distinct interests.
Services and other events are held at Lammhults kyrka. If you are planning a visit, check the dates in advance. Groups and individuals can visit Lammhult HembygdsgĂĄrd after making contact beforehand. Stationsparken is in the centre of Lammhult.
Swimming and a Walk by the Lake
The accessible bathing beach Björnö is on Lake Allgunnen in Lammhult. Another option for enjoying the water is Lammhultsbadet: the outdoor pool has two 25-metre pools, a children’s pool and two diving towers. This gives you a choice between a lakeside beach and an outdoor pool with different types of pools. Check Lammhultsbadet’s seasonal opening days before your trip.
The illuminated Lammhult loop runs right past the swimming centre and around the Ekegärd peninsula, which extends into the lake. The loop is 1.6 kilometres long. Its route and stated length make it a clearly defined option for anyone who would also like to plan a walk during their stay.
Padel and Disc Golf
There are two outdoor padel courts next to HälsoArenan. You can book them through Matchi; rackets and balls can be rented from Frendo in Lammhult. Check current booking and rental options in advance.
The 18-hole disc golf course also starts at HälsoArenan. Confirm availability and fees before your visit. Padel and disc golf thus offer two different ways to play, both associated with HälsoArenan.
Destinations in the Surrounding Area
In the area surrounding Lammhult is the Hultaklint viewpoint, 290 metres above sea level. From there, the view stretches in three directions and reaches up to five Swedish miles. Singoallas grotta is near Lädja, north of Berg. It is an almost ten-metre-long fissure in a rock slab. Its features include an overhanging boulder and a narrow passage at sitting height that is open at both ends.
Hultaklint offers views across the landscape, while Singoallas grotta is notable for its distinctive geological formation. This distinction can help you choose between the two destinations based on your interests, without combining them into a single route.
