Korsberga offers several different reasons to visit: Pinball Inn, with pinball machines and arcade games; Korsberga Activity Park; and Korsberga Church. There is also a café, local events and a floodlit exercise trail.
Games and exercise
Pinball Inn has more than 70 pinball machines, 100 TV games and several arcade games across 300 square metres. Its range includes pinball, TV games and other types of arcade games. You can also take part in pinball competitions and earn a place in the world rankings. For a special occasion, you can rent the entire arcade. Alongside its variety of games, Pinball Inn also offers a dedicated venue for an event.
Korsberga Activity Park focuses on exercise and spending time outdoors. The park has pump tracks and an obstacle course, as well as a barbecue grill and seating. It is set in a natural environment and has attractive scenery. With activities, a barbecue and places to sit, the park brings together different ways to spend time in one location.
Another option for exercise is Korsberga's elljusspår, a floodlit exercise trail that is 1.8 kilometres long. Its precise length gives you a useful reference for planning. Unlike the activity park, it offers something different: a designated exercise trail alongside the pump tracks and obstacle course. The “Småland into Eternity” route also passes through Korsberga.
Church, café and local events
Korsberga Church is a so-called Tegnér barn. Its furnishings include an organ with 19 stops, built by the organ builder Johannes Magnusson. There is also a richly embroidered chasuble bearing the year 1697. The building's design, organ and chasuble offer different cultural points of interest in Korsberga. In an organ, a stop is a set of pipes that produces a particular tone colour; stops can be selected individually. The specification of 19 stops therefore describes different tonal possibilities, not the number of individual pipes. A chasuble is a liturgical garment worn during services. Its rich embroidery is an example of textile design, while the organ illustrates the church's musical furnishings. The year 1697 refers to the chasuble, not the organ.
Vänhems café serves sweet pastries and generously filled sandwiches. Vänhems café och vandrarhem also has a boules court. Local events are part of the area's offerings too: Café Annorlunda takes place in Korsberga several times per semester; individual dates may change. The Korsberga bygdegårdsförening, a local community association, organises events including a flea market, whose specific dates may also vary. If a particular event matters to your trip, check current announcements before planning.
