Several routes run through Cordău and vary in length and difficulty rating: Dealurile Băilor Felix is 17 km long and rated easy to moderate. The Circuitul Lacului Șuaieu is 33 km long and rated moderate to challenging; the Circuit Stracoș covers 50 km and is rated challenging. The selection thus ranges from a shorter, easier-rated route to a longer, more challenging one. You can consider both length and difficulty when choosing. Around Cordău, near the resort of Băile Felix, Felix Forest has paths for walking and hiking, as well as a jogging track. Mountain biking, caving and climbing are possible in the area of Avenului de la Betfia.

Nature and Culture

The Betfia and Lacul Peţea Natura 2000 protected areas are located in the wider region; they are under the care of Muzeul Țării Crișurilor. Also in the wider area around Cordău is the Betfia Pothole, an 86-meter-deep limestone cave with a bat colony.
