Bussaco: Habitat, Route and Viewpoint

The Grande Rota do Bussaco (GR 49.1) offers a tangible link between nature and environmental information: it runs from the Mata Nacional do Bussaco, near the car park at the Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Expectação, to the Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Mealhada.

Recreation Areas in Lograssol and Pampilhosa

Parque dos Moinhos de Lograssol was transformed into a recreation area that complements the restored mills. Its facilities include several walking paths and a picnic area by a stream. Parque Verde da Pampilhosa offers something different: it has a sports field and a children’s playground. The two parks therefore differ in the specific facilities mentioned—paths, a picnic area and mills at one, and a sports field and playground at the other.
