Pobierowo lies between forests and has direct access to the sea. Walking paths, a beach access point with a wooden platform and sports facilities offer a variety of options for a stay. The town’s history also includes its development into a tourist destination in the early 20th century.

History of Accommodation

The first hotel here, Seeblick, was built in 1907. The construction of further accommodation facilities began with this establishment. The development of tourist accommodation is therefore part of the town’s history, with Seeblick as a specifically named early starting point.

Exploring Pobierowo on Foot

Grunwaldzka Street is the main walking route in Pobierowo. It is about 3.5 kilometres long and runs parallel to the sea throughout. There are numerous gravel paths in the forests around the town, and Pobierowo itself also has smaller, quiet streets for walking. This offers a choice of different walking environments: the main route parallel to the sea, quieter streets in town and gravel paths in the surrounding forest. If you want to explore Pobierowo on foot, you can choose among these options according to your interest in the sea, town streets or forest paths.

Jana z Kolna Street connects the bus station with a beach access point. This ends at a wooden platform that also enables people with disabilities to access the sea.

Rope Park and Sports Facilities

Park Linowy is located near the sea at the intersection of Grunwaldzka and Moniuszki streets. Its entrance is on Moniuszki Street, which leads directly down to the beach. The three courses are graded by difficulty: the children’s course has 12 attractions, the intermediate course 18 and the challenging course 24. The number of attractions increases with the stated levels, so you can compare the courses by difficulty and scope.

The sports complex in Pobierowo comprises a sports hall, a gym, a football pitch, tennis courts, a multipurpose basketball court, an athletics track and a skatepark. Indoor sports and ball games, tennis and athletics are combined here with facilities for skateboarding, cycling and inline skating. This variety makes the complex a destination in its own right, alongside the walking paths and rope park.

The football pitch has artificial turf, measures 100 Ă— 60 metres and is lit for training after dark. The five tennis courts have a Wimbledon 20 synthetic surface. They are suitable for both recreational tennis and professional training; artificial lighting allows training to continue into the late evening.

The skatepark includes, among other features, a bank, quarter pipe, funbox, grind box, miniramp and pyramid. The facility is suitable for skateboarding, cycling and inline skating.

Flower Clock and Local Tradition

The flower clock known as “Pachnący zegar” stands on a small, raised mound. Its dial consists of several rows of flowers in different colours. When they bloom, the large hands move over the blossoms and release a natural floral scent.

On Independence Day, singing patriotic songs together has been a long-standing tradition in Pobierowo.
