Lake Białe near Grzybno is connected to numerous tourist routes. The Kartuska Nature Route is almost 26 kilometres long, marked in green, and runs from Kartuzy to Sianowo. It leads to Lake Białe, where swimming is possible; from the lake, it continues along the Szarłata–Grzybno road into the village of Grzybno. The route thus combines a longer overall stretch with a specific section leading to the village. For your planning, the total length indicates the route’s scale, while the road name identifies its course into the village.
Beach and Trails in Grzybno
At Grzybno’s municipal beach, lifeguards supervise the bathing area. The beach also has a paddling pool for small children. During the tourist season, there is a food stand. Check before you travel whether this seasonal service is available.
A pilgrimage route also passes through Grzybno: the Pomeranian Way of St James. Its kilometre markers distinguish the passage through the village from the church location. Grzybno lies on the section from Kartuzy at kilometre 6.0; at kilometre 6.5, the route passes the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Following the route, you can therefore distinguish the village and the church as two consecutive reference points.

Culture and Trails in the Wider Karthaus Destination
The wider Karthaus destination includes other cultural attractions in Kartuzy. These include the 14th-century Gothic collegiate church. It is one of Pomerania’s most valuable architectural monuments, unique on a national scale, and bears witness to the work of the Carthusian Order. One distinctive architectural feature is its Baroque roof, shaped like a coffin lid. It symbolises the monastic idea of the Carthusian Order and its motto, “memento mori”.
The Franciszek Treder Kashubian Museum in Kartuzy offers a different perspective on the region’s heritage. It presents Kashubian literature, material culture, language, regional history and traditions. Its exhibits are displayed in eight galleries in the main building. They include Bazyli’s forge, the exhibition “Kaszubska współczesność z korzeni wyrasta” and temporary exhibitions. The church and museum have different emphases: the former focuses on the history of the Carthusian Order, while the latter explores Kashubian cultural heritage.
The trails in Kartuzy also have different focuses. Promenada Asesora is a footpath and cycle path along Lake Karczemne and is connected to Ławka Asesora, a viewpoint in Kartuzy. Another promenade was created in 2020 along Lake Klasztorne Małe. These details refer to different lakes and paths in Kartuzy; they complement Grzybno’s own route and beach references with a distinct perspective on the wider Karthaus destination.
