Ręboszewo offers three specific topics to help you plan your trip: a scenic driving route, a named water route and viewpoints on Góra Sobótka. You can start by deciding whether you would rather focus on a land route, the water or the views. In the wider destination of Karthaus, Kartuzy adds cultural and walking-route options.

Scenic driving route and viewpoints

The scenic driving route “Droga Kaszubska” runs through Łapalice, Chmielno and Ręboszewo to the Złota Góra viewpoint. In Ręboszewo itself, there are two viewpoints on Góra Sobótka. One of them leads to a Koźlak windmill building. So, if you are interested in architecture, you will find a specific connection to a windmill building alongside the viewpoints. If you plan to visit it, please check in advance whether it is currently accessible.

Water routes in Ręboszewo

The “Kółko Raduńskie” water route passes through Ręboszewo. The Radunia is also an important reference point for planning water activities: it crosses Lake Wielkie Brodno and forms a kayaking route of around 37 km there. The river also connects other Kashubian lakes in the region. The approximate route length gives you a concrete measure to consider when planning a kayaking trip. The water route through Ręboszewo and the route along the Radunia thus offer different starting points for planning your trip.

Culture in the wider destination of Karthaus

In Kartuzy, within the wider destination of Karthaus, stands the Gothic collegiate church dating from the 14th century. It is one of Pomerania’s most valuable architectural monuments, unique on a national scale, and bears witness to the activities of the Carthusian Order. One striking architectural detail is its Baroque roof, shaped like a coffin lid: it symbolises the monastic ideal of the Order, expressed in the motto “memento mori”.

The Franciszek Treder Kashubian Museum in Kartuzy presents literature, material culture, language, as well as regional history and traditions. The exhibits are displayed in eight galleries in the main building. They include Bazyli’s forge, the “Kaszubska współczesność z korzeni wyrasta” exhibition and temporary exhibitions. The church and the museum therefore give the wider destination of Karthaus two distinct cultural focal points: the history and architecture of the religious order on the one hand, and Kashubian heritage on the other.

Promenades and trails in Kartuzy

The paths in Kartuzy also offer specific options for planning. The Promenada Asesora is a walking and cycling path by Lake Karczemne, connected to the Ławka Asesora, which serves as a viewpoint over Kartuzy. Another promenade was created by Lake Klasztorne Małe in 2020. So, in Kartuzy, you can consider both a path by Lake Karczemne with a viewpoint and a promenade by Lake Klasztorne Małe.

The green Nordic walking route around Kartuzy starts and ends at the Ławka Asesora. It runs entirely through the forest, over hilly terrain and close to small forest lakes. Nordic Walking Route No. 1 is listed as 8.4 km long and taking about two hours; it runs from the Ławka Asesora via Kosy and Bilowo to Kartuzy. These details offer different planning guidance: the green route focuses on the forest and terrain, while Route No. 1 gives an approximate duration and distance. Check the details of Route No. 1 before setting out. For cycling, the nearly 26 km long, green-marked Kartuska Nature Bike Route is another option in the wider destination of Karthaus.
