Konstancin-Jeziorna offers several local themes to explore: Park Zdrojowy in the spa district, the graduation tower, villas, the water tower and a forest walking trail. Architectural history, parkland and outdoor exercise are all part of the picture. If you are looking for a hotel in Konstancin-Jeziorna, first consider which of these themes you would like to shape your stay.

Park Zdrojowy and the graduation tower

Park Zdrojowy is located in the center of the spa district. Its main avenue connects Piłsudskiego Street with the graduation tower. Built in 1978, the tower is supplied with brine from a nearby borehole and is considered the heart of the park. The air around it has a microclimate similar to that of the seaside. The location of the park, the route of the avenue and the graduation tower are useful landmarks for finding your way around. The comparison with the seaside climate refers to the air around the graduation tower.

Water tower and villas: different traces of architectural history

The Konstancin water tower was built in 1899 together with the waterworks, based on a design by Edward Lilpop. It was commissioned by Towarzystwo Akcyjne Ulepszonych Miejscowości Letniczych. The tower is currently unused. Willa Kamilin tells a different story: it was built before 1919 for the Jankiewicz family and was originally called “Halszka”. In 1929, it was sold to Artur and Kamila Gornig; the new owners renamed it “Kamilin”. With Willa Gryf, by contrast, the architectural features take center stage. The two-storey building has half-timbered-style gables and a polygonal corner tower with a steep roof. Its style is reminiscent of Alpine guesthouses. The two villas thus differ in how they are described: at Kamilin, the names and change of ownership provide the historical context, while at Gryf, the architectural form and style shape the impression.

Tourist information and paper-cutting

The tourist information office is located in Willa Kamilin, ul. Józefa Piłsudskiego 42, close to Park Zdrojowy. Visitors can get information there about local sights and facilities. Free or purchasable information materials for sightseeing are also available, including maps and guidebooks. If you plan to visit the information point, check the latest opening details beforehand.

Free paper-cutting workshops take place at the Muzeum Wycinanki every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This recurring event provides a specific cultural activity alongside the architectural and landscape themes. Check the museum’s latest visitor information before making plans.

Forest walking trail with stations

The Konstancińska ścieżka zdrowia im. Tomasza Hopfera is about 1,860 meters long and runs as a forest walking trail through Chojnowski Landscape Park. There are seven stations along the trail, with more than 30 sports and leisure facilities. The length and facilities describe different aspects of the trail: it runs through the forest and also offers stations with equipment. Compared with the main avenue in Park Zdrojowy, the trail is also characterized by an approximate length and number of stations. This lets you weigh the two themes according to their respective features without having to combine them into a single outing.
