Kudowa-Zdrój offers different ways to enjoy a stay: in Zdrojowy Park, walking paths and a promenade lead to a large pond; the museums focus on toys, historical everyday objects and wooden architecture. Zdrojowy Park and Viewpoint
Zdrojowy Park is the heart of Kudowa-Zdrój and is listed in the register of historic monuments. Its walking paths and promenade lead to a large pond with ornamental carp, ducks and swans. The Kudowa-Zdrój Salt Tower complex is also located in Zdrojowy Park; it was added in autumn 2022. The “Altanka Miłości” viewpoint is on Góra Parkowa.
Crafts at Szlak Ginących Zawodów
At Szlak Ginących Zawodów, visitors can watch a pottery demonstration. Individual visitors and groups are welcome all year round. The complex also includes a bread house and a cottage with old furnishings, as well as a forge, a windmill and a mini-zoo. The demonstration offers a specific focus on a craft; the other features show that the visit includes more than the demonstration alone.
Toy Collection and Family Trail
The Muzeum Zabawek in Kudowa-Zdrój displays more than 5,500 historical toys and objects from childhood. The collection includes items from five continents and spans the period from antiquity to the 1990s. A family trail with a storytelling format is intended for children aged seven and older and adults. This broad collection-based perspective differs from the storytelling trail designed for the stated age group.
Wooden Architecture and Rural Life in Pstrążna
The Muzeum Kultury Ludowej Pogórza Sudeckiego in Pstrążna permanently displays historic wooden architecture in the folk building style of the Sudeten foothills. The collection also includes old furniture and agricultural equipment from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Buildings and objects from domestic and agricultural life offer two different perspectives on rural life. Compared with the toy collection in Kudowa-Zdrój, the focus here shifts from objects from childhood to architecture, furniture and work equipment.
Cycle to Pstrążna
A cycling route runs from Kudowa-Zdrój through Czermna and Žďárky to Pstrążna. There, you can visit an open-air museum about village life in the Czech-Polish border region. The route takes you through a series of intermediate places, while the museum visit offers a specific destination in Pstrążna.
