Przygodziczki brings together local history and several equestrian connections: a riding trail runs through the village, and Folwark Jeździecki Jurand has its roots here as an equestrian center. There is also a chapel in the village center and the annual Hubertowiny festival, held in September. Przygodziczki also has several agritourism farms. When planning your trip, you can decide whether to focus primarily on the village’s history, the trails, or the September event.

Local History and the Chapel

Przygodziczki was part of the Radziwiłł estates from the outset. The village was founded after the emancipation of the peasants in the 1840s, when residents of Przygodzice settled on what was known as wasteland. Two distinct historical milestones therefore sit side by side: the early connection to the Radziwiłł estates and the later settlement that gave rise to Przygodziczki.

A clearly identifiable landmark in the village center is the chapel at the intersection of the main roads. Inside stands a figure of Jesus. Its central location at the crossroads gives the chapel a clear connection to the village; it adds a visible local feature to the historical context.

Riding Trail, Cycle Route, and Folwark Jeździecki Jurand

A riding trail runs through Przygodziczki. The POS-219 cycle route also passes through the village, heading toward Antonin and crossing National Road 11 along the way. The route descriptions thus differ in terms of use and direction: the riding trail runs through the village, while POS-219 is described as a cycle connection toward Antonin. This distinction can help with planning if you are interested in one of the two types of route.

The history of Folwark Jeździecki Jurand is also connected with riding. It began in 2000 as an equestrian center founded by Jerzy Kątnego. Over the years, it developed into a modern restaurant and educational complex. So, in addition to the riding trail, the village has an institutional history connected with horses.

Hubertowiny in September

The Hubertowiny festival is held every year in September in Przygodziczki. If the festival is a deciding factor for your trip, you can use September as a guide and check the specific event dates before making plans. This lets you plan your stay around the recurring event without assuming a particular annual schedule or program.

A Memorial Site in the Surrounding Area

Near Przygodziczki, by the settlement of Jezioro, there is a cross bearing an image of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa on the so-called Mikstacka Street. The road approaches from Strugi. The cross commemorates children who froze to death during a hike in the First World War. This memorial site is in the vicinity of the destination, while the chapel is in the village center. The distinction helps locate the two historic sites geographically.
