The Village’s Architectural History
The parish church of Saint-Clément is Romanesque and was built in the 11th to 12th century. It was remodelled in the 18th century, and the bell tower was added in 1829–1830. Its architectural history therefore includes several clearly distinct phases: the Romanesque church, the later remodelling and the addition of the tower. Those interested in the village’s history will find more than a single date here: the present-day church is the result of developments spanning several centuries.
