In Dlouhá Třebová, religious buildings, protected works of art and memorial sites sit alongside a clear connection to cycling: a cycle route passes through the town and links Ústí nad Orlicí with Česká Třebová. The church-related highlights centre on the Neo-Gothic Kostel sv. Prokopa (Church of St. Procopius), with its Prokop bell, acquired in 1753. Bus and rail services also connect Dlouhá Třebová with both towns.

Churches and religious buildings

Kostel sv. Prokopa was consecrated on 8 December 1906. The Neo-Gothic style refers to a later revival of Gothic forms, bringing an architectural term together with a precise consecration date. The Prokop bell was acquired in 1753. Its acquisition predates the consecration of the church by a considerable time, but the dates refer to different elements: the bell and the church building.

Kaple sv. Josefa (Chapel of St. Joseph) was built in 1898. It contains a painting of St. Joseph donated by Josef Šár. The year of construction and the painting offer two different points of reference for considering this religious building: when it was built and a specific item in its interior.

Works of art and memorial sites

The works of art can be considered in terms of their design, protection status and dates. Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého (Statue of St. John of Nepomuk) was erected on 27 June 1826 and is a state-protected cultural monument. Socha sv. Prokopa (Statue of St. Procopius) is life-size and a protected monument; annual processions to it continue to be held. Sousoší Nejsvětější trojice (Holy Trinity sculpture group) is made of sandstone, was acquired in 1887 and has been a cultural monument since 1996. The dates here mark different events: the acquisition of the group and the beginning of its monument status.

Památník Obětem válek (Memorial to the Victims of Wars) commemorates the men who did not return from the battlefields of the First World War. The monument includes a lion made of Hořice sandstone. After its restoration in 2014, the grounds were landscaped as a park and made fully accessible. Pomník svobody (Freedom Monument) is a stone memorial mound in the central part of Dlouhá Třebová, erected in 1924. Three bronze emblems are set into the structure: Jan Hus, Jan Žižka and Tomáš G. Masaryk.
