The Skalická cycling loop passes through Chotovice. The “Z Nového Boru do Sloupu” hiking route goes through the village and offers a glimpse of the traditional folk architecture of the Lusatian region that has been preserved. Chapel and local history
The Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is a historic monument in Chotovice. It was built in 1776 and added to the heritage register in 1965. The spa in Chotovice operated until 1945 and is no longer in operation. It used an iron-rich spring and peat extracted near Červený rybník (Red Pond) by Pihel. At the end of the 19th century, two glass-grinding mills operated in the cadastral area of Chotovice on the Chotovický potok stream. The dates put the two topics into context: the mills were active in the late 19th century, and the spa operated until 1945.
