Vinaře can be planned around a range of interests: guided wine tastings, the scenery from the Viničák viewpoint and activities at Ranč Vinaře each offer a different focus. To plan your trip, it helps to decide what matters most: would you like your trip to centre on wine and winemaking, views of the landscape or a horse experience?
Wine and local dining
Vinařství Vinaře offers guided wine tastings with refreshments. The tasting includes explanations of the history and production of each wine, so the visit is about more than simply sampling them. The winery builds on the winemaking tradition of its predecessors and combines traditional methods with modern technology. If you are interested in how the wines are made, you can learn about the individual wines and the winery’s approach here. Reservation details may change; confirm them in advance.
Hospůdka na Vinici offers a different kind of stop: its regular offerings include drinks and cold dishes. The small dining room is complemented by a hall where smaller events, such as darts tournaments and social gatherings, take place. If you are coming for a particular event, check the programme in advance; event plans may change. The offerings may also change. The two dining options have different focuses: Vinařství offers a guided tasting, while Hospůdka serves drinks and cold dishes.
Viničák and the Doubrava landscape
The viewpoint on Viničák Hill offers clear landmarks on the horizon: to the west, you can see the tower of the church in Čáslav; to the south, the tower of Žleby Castle. The view also extends across the fertile landscape along the Doubrava and to the meander of its millrace. These named directions and views of the landscape give a visit here a different focus from the tastings or activities at the ranch.
Horse experiences at Ranč Vinaře
Ranč Vinaře offers horseback rides for children and adults throughout the year, as well as horse-drawn carriage rides. Regular pony-riding lessons take place during the school year. The options therefore vary by travel period: horseback rides are available year-round, while pony lessons are tied to the school year. Booking and programme details may change; confirm specifics before planning your visit.
The Extreme Trail Park was established at the ranch in June 2018 and is equipped with all the basic obstacles. Their arrangement may change. If you are planning a visit to the park, check the latest information in advance.
Events, a cycling route and a bell tower in Vinice
Vinařský swap took place at Ranč Vinaře in 2024, 2025 and 2026. If you would like to plan your stay around this event, check future dates and the programme for each event in advance; both may change. Cycling route 0113 passes through Vinaře. Check its numbering and signage before setting out.
A bell tower stands at house number 98 in Vinice. It was completely repaired after many years.
