A protected historic building on the village square, a karst spring connected to the Český kras and marked trails along the boundaries of the area give Nesvačily a range of points of interest. The railway stop is also within walking distance of the village centre. When looking for a holiday rental, it helps to first decide what matters most to you: local culture, planning a hiking or cycling route, or travelling by train.

Village history in two stops

The protected chapel with its bell tower stands on the village square in front of house No. 8. Opposite the municipal office, beneath two lime trees, is a cross considered Nesvačily’s most valuable monument of local significance. The two landmarks are different in nature: the chapel is a protected building, while the assessment of the cross highlights its local heritage significance. Those who want to focus on the village’s history can thus distinguish between a sacred building and a locally significant cross.

Karst spring and geological connection

The Nesvačilská vyvěračka is a karst spring that drains one of the southernmost foothills of the Český kras. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute monitors the spring over the long term. Alongside the monuments, this offers a geological focus: the spring’s karst features, its connection to the Český kras and its long-term monitoring are the main points of interest. For travellers interested in nature, this is a different focus from the architectural history of the village square.

Hiking trail and cycling route

A municipal plan from 2016 records two different routes. A green-marked hiking trail runs along the northern edge of the Nesvačily area between Vinařice and Liteň. Along the southern edge, marked cycling route No. 3 follows road II/115 between Zadní Třebaň and Lochovice. Their different locations, endpoints and modes of travel make it easier to distinguish between the options: hikers can follow the Vinařice–Liteň connection; for a cycling trip, route No. 3 is the relevant option. Check the signage and current route conditions before setting out on a specific trip.

Getting here and local routes

Nesvačily railway stop is within walking distance of the village centre, on railway line 172 between Zadní Třebaň and Lochovice. This provides a clear reference point for getting here; check the timetable and connections separately for your travel date.

The municipal plan also stipulates that important field and forest paths in the Nesvačily area must remain publicly accessible to pedestrians and cyclists, regardless of ownership. Check local conditions when planning a specific trip.

When looking for a holiday rental, you can also take into account another difference: the railway stop is within walking distance of the village centre, while the routes mentioned run along different edges of the area. Choose the exact location of your accommodation to suit your priorities.
