Öjersjö offers several distinct ways to shape your stay: Kåsjöbadet features swimming jetties and diving towers, while Hålsjögymmet has exercise equipment between two lakes. Around Öjersjö Church, you’ll also find a croft dating from 1850 and a disc golf course; near Öjersjö Hallen, older farmsteads shape the cultural landscape. You can tailor your stay to your interests in water, recreation or culture.
Water at Kåsjöbadet
Kåsjöbadet is on Kåsjövägen in Öjersjö and has several swimming jetties, diving towers and toilets. For bus travel, routes 512 and 516 from Partille centrum are relevant: both stop at Kåsjön, right next to the swimming area. Check the timetable before setting out so you can plan your journey around departure times.
On the circular trail around the small and large Kåsjön lakes, there is a shelter on the western side of the smaller lake. There are tables and benches at several points along the trail. If you’d like to plan a break on an outing by the water, these spots offer clear points of reference. The circular trail offers a different experience from Kåsjöbadet: here, rest stops along the trail shape your visit, while Kåsjöbadet centers on swimming jetties and diving towers.
Recreation between lakes and on trails
Hålsjögymmet is located outside Öjersjö Church, between the small and large Hålsjön lakes. It is open to everyone, not just church members. The eight exercise stations are mostly made of wood; only the necessary fittings and ground anchors are not. Hålsjögymmet is therefore a practical option for anyone who’d like to include exercise equipment in their stay.
There is also a disc golf course with six baskets in the woods by Lilla Hålsjön, near Öjersjö Church. A report dated October 29, 2025, describes the activity park in Öjersjö as complete and mentions climbing facilities, an obstacle course and a multi-sport area. The park is on Gamla vägen, next to Hallen preschool.
A pedestrian and cycle path runs along Nya Öjersjövägen, from the roundabout at Hålsjövägen to the roundabout at Björkdals väg. The route was completed in summer 2025. In Hultet Södra in Öjersjö, the municipality has built pedestrian and cycle paths, along with lighting and green spaces. These two locations offer different points of reference for planning your routes: one is a path with named endpoints, the other is local path infrastructure in Hultet Södra.
Church, farmsteads and nature
Öjersjö Church is near Lilla Hålsjön. The church grounds include a croft dating from 1850. Along Gamla vägen, the older farmsteads of Öjersjö Hallen form a valuable cultural landscape. These historic features differ in scale: one building on the church grounds and a landscape of farmsteads along the road.
Bråtaskogen is a local recreation area for Öjersjö and is used for walks and mushroom-picking trips. It complements the swimming spots and exercise facilities with a focus on the natural landscape. If you choose your stay based on what you’d like to do, walks and mushroom-picking trips are options alongside water-based activities and recreation.
