In the cultivated section of the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, 20,000 species and cultivars from more than 130 countries are spread across 20 hectares. Public tours are scheduled throughout the year; guided visits for private groups are possible where arrangements can be made.
Slottsskogen combines large lawns for picnics with a history of its own as a park: in 1874, the grounds became a park with winding paths, a zoo, houses representing the domestic architecture of various countries and a dance pavilion. The animal park is open year-round and can be visited free of charge. Check the latest visitor information before your visit.
