When choosing a stay in Son Parc, walking routes, the beach and leisure activities can each be a different priority. Camí de Cavalls and scenery
The section of the Camí de Cavalls between Arenal d'en Castell and Cala Tirant reaches the Son Parc urbanisation; Son Saura beach is located there. The 11-kilometre stage begins by passing through Son Parc and is considered particularly easy. The distance refers to the entire stage between Arenal d'en Castell and Cala Tirant, not just the section in the urbanisation. Along the same route, the Camí passes through the wooded area of s’Albufera des Comte, which is of great natural value because of its diversity of plant species. Check the trail conditions locally before setting out.
Beach, walking routes and nature
Arenal de s'Olla de Son Saura is close to the Son Parc urbanisation and has a shoreline more than 200 metres long, with fine golden sand. At the end of the beach, a path leads to Cala Pudent. From the area around Son Parc, the cove can be reached via about 3 kilometres of unpaved footpath; the walk takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Both figures are approximate. As trail conditions may change, check them locally.
The nearby Cala Pudent also offers opportunities for diving. On the seabed, green and brown algae contrast with white sand and blue water. The walking route and diving offer two different ways to enjoy the same destination. The dune system of Arenal de Son Saura includes dunes that rise to more than 10 metres.
Golf and getting there
The Golf Són Parc Menorca course is located in the Son Parc urbanisation, a few kilometres from Arenal de Son Saura del Nord beach. Its 18 holes are surrounded by pine forests. The course challenges experienced players and is also suitable for beginners. For walking, the stage length is the key consideration; for golf, the 18 holes and the course’s suitability for both beginners and experienced players provide the points of reference.
The timetable for the period from 22 June to 13 September 2026 lists route L41 (IB08) between Maó, Arenal d'en Castell, Son Parc, Fornells and es Mercadal.
