Valdezorras offers a range of points of interest for a stay: cultural activities, local history, sports facilities and specific transport connections. When choosing a holiday rental, you can decide whether neighbourhood culture, sport or finding your way around the area will be the main consideration for your trip.

Culture, local history and festivals

The Centro CĂvico Entreparques serves the neighbourhoods of Valdezorras and El Gordillo and, due to its proximity, particularly the Pino Montano neighbourhood. Workshops, cultural events, exhibitions, neighbourhood festivals and other activities take place there. The programme brings together different formats: workshops and exhibitions alongside community festivals and cultural events.

The Parroquia Nuestra Señora de las Veredas began as a simple parish in 1968. Vistahermosa was once a name for Valdezorras, and the area is considered an example of an established settlement. Taken together, these details point to different aspects of local history: the parish, a former name and its classification as a settlement.

A report from June 2026 described the return of a Corpus Christi celebration organised by the parish of Nuestra Señora de las Veredas, with a Eucharistic procession through the streets of Valdezorras. Municipal programmes for 2020 and 2023 each announced the Cabalgata de Valdezorras for 6 January, with four floats and a start time of 11:30 a.m.; in 2023, it was due to end on the esplanade of Parque del Olivo. These details relate to specific years. If you plan to include a festival in your trip, check the date again.

Connections and rural transport links

As part of a municipal transport reorganisation in 2021, TUSSAM bus route 16 ran between Valdezorras and Plaza JerĂłnimo de CĂłrdoba. Timetables and routes may change; check the connection before travelling.

Camino de los Rojas is almost three kilometres long and provides access to rural properties and scattered homes in Valdezorras and this part of the city. Its function is therefore different from that of an ordinary local street. Conditions and traffic regulations may change; check the latest information if you plan to use the Camino.

A historic livestock track entry identifies a 576-metre section of the Cañada Real de Poco Aceite as the Vereda de Poco Aceite. In the area affected by P.P. SUP-3 Valdezorras, the section is located to the right of the Carretera de Brenes and to the right of the main road in the Valdezorras neighbourhood. Another transport connection concerns the A-8008: it lies in the area of the Cañada Real de Poco Aceite livestock track and runs parallel to the cycle path described there. One detail concerns a named section of livestock track; the other describes the relationship between the road and the cycle path.

Sports facilities

The Centro Deportivo Valdezorras has an artificial-turf football pitch and a petanque court. These facilities cater for two different sports. If sport is one of your travel interests, these amenities complement the cultural and local history topics with a focus of their own.
