The Krzna, the walking and cycling path along ul. Bialska, and a kayaking route give you different ways to plan a trip to Czosnówka. The Krzna flows along the northern edge of Czosnówka, where there is also a weir. A railway line also runs through the village. Local history and a recurring family festival offer further perspectives on a stay.
Water and routes with different time commitments
Since 2025, residents and tourists have been able to use the newly built walking and cycling path along ul. Bialska. If you want to explore on foot or by bike, this gives you a clearly identified route in the village. On the Krzna, a 17.5 km kayaking route runs from Styrzyniec to Czosnówka Tama; the stated paddling time is 4–5 hours. The path along ul. Bialska and the water route offer two different options: a local walking and cycling path versus a several-hour trip with named start and end points. River conditions and operating conditions can vary, so check the information before your kayaking trip.
A round trip suggested as a full-day outing
A tour suggested in a 2008 travel guide describes a 45 km, full-day round trip on paved roads. It runs from Biała Podlaska through Czosnówka, Ortel Książęcy, Ortel Królewski, Studzianka, Łomazy, Dubów and Wólka Plebańska, and back to Biała Podlaska.
Local history and community life
Local history also has a clearly dated reference point: in 1596, the settlement then known as Szczosnówka was assigned to the parish of St. Anne in Biała Podlaska. The former name and the ecclesiastical affiliation are part of the same event. The name Szczosnówka refers to the settlement in its historical context, while Czosnówka is the place name used for present-day trip planning.
Another local feature is the family festival, which has been held in Czosnówka for several years. At one edition of the family festival and the village councils’ competition for the Gmina Biała Podlaska, around 1,500 people gathered. The programme included sports competitions, demonstrations by emergency services, activities for children, musical performances and celebrations together. If you want the festival to influence your travel dates, check before planning whether an edition falls within your chosen period.
Find a holiday apartment to suit your stay
When looking for a holiday apartment in Czosnówka, it helps to decide what you want to focus on: would you prefer to prioritise a kayaking trip, the round trip, or the local walking and cycling path and local history? The two longer outings have different stated time commitments—4–5 hours of paddling or a full day. This can help you decide which activity fits into your available travel days. If you are staying around the family festival, also check the date of the relevant edition.
