In Atyrá, rocky slopes and picturesque landscapes are ideal for hikes and outdoor walks. Hill climbs and panoramic views are also possible in Atyrá and Altos. Handicrafts and Art in Altos and TobatĂ

In Altos, wood carving from timbĂł wood is a cultural hallmark. Colorful designs include animal figures, masks and mythological beings. The practice began during the festivities of San Pedro and San Pablo; the tradition is shaped both by its figures and by its origins.

TOBA is an art shop and studio in TobatĂ that organizes workshops and community activities to promote the learning and transmission of traditional art.

At Parque Natural Ysypo in TobatĂ, visitors can find figures crafted from Ysypo: elephants, giraffes, monkeys, rhinos and other animals. The animal motifs give the handicrafts here a distinctive, tangible form.
