The Luisenturm offers a different view. Built in 1864, the tower stands on the Hummelsberg, which is over 500 meters high, near Kleinkochberg. Kochberg Palace is a Goethe memorial site run by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and was formerly the residence of Charlotte von Stein.
