Cycling offers a way to explore nature around Weißkeißel and the local landscape, including the Neisse Cycle Route. The Muskau Park is also a destination for cyclists setting out from Weißkeißel. Leisure Park from Summer to Winter

The leisure park is a recreational area for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and children. Its hockey area is used in both summer and winter. Another landscape feature is the FFH site “Forests and Wetlands near Weißkeißel”: it contains wet to semi-peaty woodland in the Muskau Fold Belt.

The southern section of the Braunsteich Nature Reserve also includes areas within the municipality of Weißkeißel. Its conservation objective is to preserve a remarkable section of the Muskau Fold Belt within the Muskau Heath. Together, these descriptions show different aspects of the landscape: wooded areas, drainage ditches, wet to semi-peaty woodland and a protected section of the fold belt.
