For a snowshoe hike, the “Balcon de Châtel” route leads from the town centre to Lac de Vonnes. It can also be walked in the opposite direction. The route is very easy and accessible to everyone; whether it is passable depends on snow and avalanche conditions. The town centre and the lake are the two endpoints, so you can choose which direction to take. If you prefer skiing, Espace Liberté offers a cross-border area; the snowshoe route, by contrast, connects the town centre and Lac de Vonnes.
Fishing and paddling at Lac de Vonnes
All fishing techniques using barbless hooks are permitted. Local regulations apply to fishing and its seasons; check the rules in force before you fish. Paddling is available seasonally and must be booked on site. A life jacket included in the price must be worn.
