There are several starting points for planning a stay in Lísek: the Empire-style Church of St. Nicholas, protected natural areas, Skalský Pond and a green-marked route. Each raises different questions—about architectural history, protected areas, recreation by the water or a route towards Pletenice.

Church and local history

The Empire-style Church of St. Nicholas is the landmark of Lísek. It was built from 1846 to 1852. In front of the present-day church stands a Boží hrob (Holy Sepulchre) from the earlier church. Two historical layers therefore come together here: a 19th-century building and a surviving element of its predecessor. The church grounds also contribute to the site's distinctive character. They feature mature trees and have high aesthetic value. Visitors interested in architecture will find not only the Empire-style church here, but also a tangible connection to its predecessor. This makes the church more than a single building: its surroundings and the surviving element from the earlier church broaden the perspective on local history.

Protected landscape and natural monument

The Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area includes the part of the municipality of Lísek west of road III/36034. This boundary applies to a specific part of the area. The Vlčí kámen Natural Monument is located at the northern tip of the Vojtěchov cadastral area within the municipality of Lísek. It protects the remnants of an old fir, spruce and beech forest. The two descriptions refer to different spatial scales: Žďárské vrchy covers part of the municipality, while Vlčí kámen is a natural monument at a more precisely located point.

Route towards Pletenice

The green-marked “Kolem Olešné k zaniklému Pičulínu” route passes through Lísek. At the edge of the village, it climbs towards the 734 m-high hill of Pletenice. It therefore offers a different focus from a single destination: for orientation, both the route through the village and the direction of the ascent are relevant. Trail conditions and markings may change; check both before setting off.

Skalský Pond and recreation by the water

Skalský Pond is now used for fishing and recreation. There are two spacious beaches by the pond. Use of the beaches and conditions there may change; check the current situation before visiting. The body of water also has a long history: Skalský Pond was probably created around the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. This tentative dating adds a historical perspective to the pond's present-day recreational use. The present and an approximate date of origin thus sit side by side, while the route towards Pletenice offers a different approach to planning a trip.

Plan your journey

The “Lísek, Skalský Dvůr” bus stop is on the road connecting Lísek with road I/19. Before travelling, check whether and when the stop is served. This lets you plan your journey using a specifically named stop, without mistaking the location information for a timetable.
