There are many different, clearly defined experiences to choose from in Dolní Morava: a suspension bridge between two mountain ridges, a high wooden walkway with a slide, trail routes and themed adventure areas. Rather than viewing the offerings as a single activity, you can distinguish between them by their character: a structure and its elevation, route length and difficulty, or a theme that interests you. This will help you see which focus best matches your travel plans.
Suspension bridge and high-altitude walkway
Sky Bridge 721 at Horský resort Dolní Morava is a 721-metre-long pedestrian suspension bridge. It connects two mountain ridges at a height of 95 metres above the ground. Stezka v oblacích offers a different scale: it sits at 1,116 metres above sea level and is 55 metres high. Its wooden walkway is 710 metres long, with a 100-metre-long slide as well. The reference point for the height figures matters: the bridge is 95 metres above the ground, while the 1,116 metres for Stezka refers to its elevation above sea level. This puts the figures into context without confusing bridge height, elevation and walkway length. Stezka's adventure attractions also include a net fall, a toboggan and a passage called the “Rukáv.”
Access and trail options
You can reach Stezka v oblacích on foot or by the Sněžník chairlift. Access is barrier-free. If you would like to take a wheelchair on the chairlift, this is possible by prior arrangement with the lift staff. As access arrangements may change during operation, check the current conditions in advance, especially if transporting a wheelchair is important to your plans.
Trail Park Dolní Morava has 31 kilometres of trails. These include an 8-kilometre family route with easy-to-navigate steep turns and numerous rest stops. The Selský Flow Trail is 7 kilometres long, runs below Stezka v oblacích and offers views of Chlum and the Dolní Morava valley; it is moderately difficult. The routes therefore differ by more than just one kilometre: the family route is defined by its turns and rest stops, while the Flow Trail also offers moderate difficulty and views. Length alone does not tell you everything about these routes. The Flow Trail's route and conditions may change; check the current situation before setting out.
Another distance to note is the 15-kilometre mountain scooter ride. This lets you compare the offering by length too, without equating it with the two trail routes.
Adventure parks and a cultural monument
The Mamutíkovy adventure parks are divided into themed areas devoted to water, forest, the Wild West and a giant mammoth. The interactive mammoth is 13 metres tall and offers educational and play areas on two floors. At Mamutíkova louže, the offering includes a 52-metre-long river with water up to ankle depth. The features range from different themed areas and educational and play spaces to a watercourse with a specified length and depth.
The Church of St. Alois and its grounds are listed as a cultural monument in Dolní Morava. Alongside the trails and adventure parks, it provides a cultural focus and adds another point of interest to your stay.
