Several cycling routes pass through Troubelice, while Cycle Route 6031 ends there. The village is also home to a branch church built in 1842–1844 and a chapel in Pískov with a ceiling made of cork panels. This gives you two specific focuses for planning your trip: the routes of the cycle paths and the architectural history of the religious buildings. If you are looking for a holiday apartment, you can first decide whether cycling, architecture or both will shape your stay.

Church architecture in Troubelice and PĂskov

The branch church of “Navštívení Panny Marie” in Troubelice was built in 1842–1844. In Pískov stands the chapel of “sv. Antonína Paduánského”, built in 1884. This places the focus on two different construction dates and two locations: the branch church in Troubelice and the chapel in Pískov.

One distinctive feature of the chapel is its nave, the central room of the building: its ceiling is made of cork panels. There are only two such structures in Europe, one in PĂskov and one at the Semering Pass in Austria. For those interested in culture, the cork ceiling is a specific architectural difference from the branch church in Troubelice.

Choose cycling routes by their course

The numbered cycle routes can be distinguished mainly by their connecting points and endpoints. Route 6031 runs from a connection to Cycle Route 6026 in Úsov via Klopina, Veleboř, Lipinka and Nová Hradečná to Troubelice. Here, Troubelice is the destination of the route described.

Route 6032 starts at a connection to Cycle Route 6028 in Uničov and runs via Troubelice, Nová Hradečná, Dolní Libina and Oskava to the Rabštejn mountain hut. Route 6052 runs from a connection to Cycle Route 6028 near Hlivice via Medlov, Troubelice and Šumvald to Dlouhá Loučka. On both routes, Troubelice is on the way to another named endpoint. This helps you distinguish whether Troubelice is the destination of your cycling plans or part of a connection between several places.

Another option is the “Ochutnej Moravu na kole” cycle route, which passes through Troubelice and the village district of Dědinka. It includes thirteen food and drink stops. This route can therefore be considered from a different perspective than the numbered connections: alongside the sequence of places, the route’s gastronomic concept is also part of what it offers.

Chocolate by request and bus connections

Čokoládovna Troubelice can offer a talk with chocolate tasting on request; a possible date can be arranged. If you would like to include this offer in your plans, enquire in advance and arrange a date. This way, you can take the request requirement into account before deciding on your other activities.

Troubelice is part of the Olomoucký kraj integrated public transport system, KIDSOK. The IDSOK integrated transport system is also being developed in the region. Troubelice has a total of ten bus stops, including “Troubelice,,u kaple” and “Troubelice,,žel. st.”. If you are planning a bus journey, check the connections and timetables for your travel date.

Plan a stay to suit you

When looking for a holiday apartment, you can first decide on your focus: the numbered cycling connections, the history of religious architecture, or the gastronomic cycling route. Then compare the location of each accommodation with the destinations you would like to visit. If you plan to use bus connections, include the timetables for your travel dates in your plans as well.
