North Bend offers a range of ways to shape your stay: historic farmland, views of Mount Si and the Cascade Mountain Range, a long gravel trail, a bike park, and local and regional history. To plan your visit, you can consider landscapes, outdoor activities and cultural history as separate areas of interest. Meadowbrook Farm combines scenic views with nature observation trails; educational programs at Dahlgren Family Park explore the history of the Snoqualmie Tribe.

Historic Farmland and Landscapes

Meadowbrook Farm is a 460-acre historic farm property in North Bend and Snoqualmie. The site offers expansive views of Mount Si and the Cascade Mountain Range, as well as nature observation trails.

Tollgate Farm is a historic 410-acre farm and open space property in North Bend. Meadowbrook covers 460 acres, 50 acres more, and is located in North Bend and Snoqualmie; Tollgate is in North Bend. The two farm properties therefore differ both in size and in their stated locations. Tollgate is also specifically designated as an open space property.

Trails and Cycling

The Snoqualmie Valley Trail is a 31-mile multi-use gravel trail that runs across the full east-west extent of North Bend. Unlike the named farm properties, it is a trail route that stretches across the entire area from east to west. Its total length, route and surface offer different points of reference for understanding the trail.

Torguson Park is home to the 35,000-square-foot Torguson Pump Track, a bike park for all ages with features for different skill levels. It is intended for non-motorized bicycles. The park also has a climbing tower. The pump track is a bike park at a named location, while the Snoqualmie Valley Trail is described as a long, linear multi-use trail. This distinction helps differentiate the two cycling options by their form and scale.

History and Getting Oriented in Town

The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum is two blocks from downtown North Bend. Its collection includes artifacts and stories from throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. The museum is therefore close to downtown, while its collection covers the entire valley.

Educational programs at Dahlgren Family Park explore the Snoqualmie Tribe’s history and deep connection to this land and the Snoqualmie River. The specific interpretive program may change. Its focus on the Tribe, the land and the river differs from the collection of regional artifacts and stories at the Historical Museum.

On weekends, North Bend Depot serves as a train depot for passengers of the Northwest Railway Museum. A lift helps people board and exit the train. If you plan to take a ride with the museum, check the schedule in advance and note that service operates on weekends.
