Puerto Banus offers a range of options to help you plan your trip: charters on the water, events, beach activities and historic sites. You can choose which ones will shape your stay based on the time you have available and your interests.
Marina and charters: planning time on the water
Puerto Banus marina has 915 berths; capacity may change. Its maritime offerings include various charter options: from Puerto Banus, you can charter yachts and sailboats with or without a skipper. Luxury yachts are available to rent for two, four or eight hours. You can rent sailboats and catamarans for one or more days on the Costa del Sol.
The options vary both by boat type and by duration, so you can distinguish between short yacht charters and rentals lasting several days. First, consider how long you would like to rent a boat and whether you are looking for an option with or without a skipper. Charter offers and availability may change; check the current terms before booking.
Events and personalized tours
Marbella Arena is an auditorium and multi-purpose events venue in Puerto Banus. It hosts concerts, theatre, monologues and sporting events, among other things, throughout the year. As the programme may change, it is worth checking the dates for your travel period if you want to include a particular event in your plans.
For a personalized tour, the Puerto Banus Tourist Office offers a multilingual virtual assistant. It provides tours in up to 95 languages. If you would like to use this digital service, check its current range of features.
Founding history and Torre del Duque
Puerto Banus was founded around the concept of an Andalusian-style Mediterranean village. It was inaugurated in 1970 in front of more than 1,500 guests. These historic milestones give the place a distinct historical context, while Torre del Duque is a tangible architectural trace of its past.
Torre del Duque is located next to the main entrance to Puerto Banus. The watchtower was recently restored and dates from the Nasrid defensive system of the 13th to 15th centuries. Together, the founding concept and this historic building offer different ways to explore the history of the area.
Beach activities and a beach club
Assisted sea bathing with amphibious chairs is available at Puerto Banús–Levante Beach. The service is seasonal, and advance reservations are required. Arrange your reservation well in advance of your planned visit.
BanĂşs Beach offers something different: sun loungers right on the beach and views of Marbella and La Concha mountain. The beach club experience combines food and music with a selection of cocktails; food and drink options may change. CĂvitas Puerto BanĂşs also has more than 100 luxury boutiques.
This lets you tailor your choice of experiences to the time of year you travel.
