Along the way, the trail passes viewpoints on Kabajka and Horb. Horb is 560 m high; from there, you can enjoy a panorama of Polańczyk. Open landscapes, forest and viewpoints alternate along the route. If you want to factor an approximate duration into your day’s plans, Perła provides a time frame; the panorama from Horb adds a view of the town to the walk.

Forest Path and Water at Cypel

The Cypel Polańczyka walking trail offers a different experience: it leads through a forest down to the shore of a quiet lake cove. Along the route are numerous sailing docks, swimming areas and a landing stage for excursion boats. The facilities may operate differently depending on the season. Compared with Perła, the focus here is on the forest path and the cove, while the other route crosses fields and meadows to reach viewpoints. Ekomarina Polańczyk adds boat trips with experienced skippers and the option to steer a yacht yourself to the water-based activities. You can choose between a trip with a skipper and steering the yacht yourself.

Church History in Polańczyk

The present-day brick Church of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Beautiful Love was built in 1909 and has been used as a Roman Catholic parish church since 1948. The main altar contains an icon of Our Lady of Łopienka, transferred here from the church in Łopienka. The building and altarpiece reveal different historical layers: the church was built in 1909, while the icon has its own story of origin.
