Bojano offers several ways to shape a stay: orienteering, parish history, memorial sites and sport. You can also get a close-up look at Kashubian spring and Easter specialities. When looking for a hotel, it helps to first consider which of these interests you want to focus on during your time here.
Orienteering and the forest
In Bojano, you can start four orienteering courses of varying lengths and difficulty levels; they begin at the car park of the war cemetery. This gives you two specific criteria to consider when comparing them: how long should the course be, and what level of difficulty suits your plans? Choose based on these criteria rather than looking only at the number of courses. It is advisable to check the current conditions before setting out.
The “Zielony Punkt Kontrolny - Bojano” project, described in 2024, provides access to the forest via a network of permanent control points and supports orienteering, recreation and sport. The project focuses on the control points and the different ways they can be used; for the four courses, length and difficulty help with comparisons. This lets you weigh up whether you would rather choose a specific course or focus on accessing the forest via the control-point network.
Church history and memorial sites
The newly built church of the Parish of St Jadwiga KrĂłlowa was consecrated in 2002. The Way of the Cross, made up of icons from the same parish, was blessed in October 2005. The dates refer to two different things: 2002 to the church, and 2005 to the Way of the Cross. If you are interested in parish history, you can consider the church building and the devotional route as separate historical points of reference.
The remains of 6,058 soldiers of the Belorussian Front lie at the Bojano-Głodowo war cemetery. The war cemetery for Soviet soldiers is located on ul. Poległych Żołnierzy in Głodowo, a settlement belonging to the Sołectwo Bojano. The number and the name of the front provide a specific historical reference; the street and settlement details locate the cemetery geographically.
Sport and Kashubian specialities
The sports and events hall has seating for 300 spectators, as well as a fitness room and a weight room. The hall therefore offers both spectator seating and spaces for fitness and strength training. This sporting focus differs from the orienteering courses: there, you can compare length and difficulty, while the hall is characterised by its seating capacity and the two rooms mentioned.
The Wiosenne Targi Artystyczne were scheduled for 29 March 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bojano. Local artisans and producers of traditional and natural products were invited. Visitors could sample traditional Kashubian spring and Easter specialities at the event and buy them for their festive table at home. This specific event brought together culinary discoveries, crafts and products for the festive table.
When planning your trip, you can weigh up the different interests: choosing an orienteering course, the dates in the parish’s history, memorial sites or sports-related offerings. The craft market is a specific event from the past, held in spring 2026.
