Koziki offers two different starting points for planning your trip: the railway stop on the reactivated passenger line to Łomża and the C-1 cycling route nearby. If you are looking for a holiday apartment, first decide whether your trip will be focused more on rail travel, a bike ride, or a specific activity programme.
Getting here by train
When the timetable resumed on 14 June 2026, Koziki was introduced as a new stop on the reactivated passenger line to Łomża. The associated summer timetable ended on 29 August 2026, so check the currently valid service for your travel date before setting off. The stop was also included in the discounted “Taryfa Podlaska” fare offer. This was a summer offer for 2026; you should check separately whether it is currently available.
The railway investment between Łomża and Śniadowo included new passenger stops in Koziki and Konarzyce. The 17 km-long railway line No. 49 between Śniadowo and Łomża was also rebuilt to resume train services to Łomża. Koziki station can therefore be viewed as part of a broader railway development.
Cycling route nearby
The 40.15 km C-1 county cycling route runs nearby along the Koziki–Giełczyn road and then continues to Giełczyn. The route also passes through the Czerwony Bór forest complex. It therefore combines a specific road section with a stretch through the forest complex—a different perspective for planning your trip than travelling by train.
The county route description dates from 2012. Before cycling, check the current route and conditions before firmly planning a particular stage. That way, you can tailor your route planning to the conditions on your trip rather than relying solely on an older description.
Railway station building and local initiatives
The railway station building at Koziki 1 is also a tangible link to local history: it is listed in the register of historic monuments of the Gmina Śniadowo and included in the municipal heritage conservation programme for 2024–2027. This allows you to consider the regional railway context and the municipally listed station building as two different aspects of the area’s railway heritage.
A family picnic in Koziki was organised by the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury in Śniadowo together with residents of Koziki and visiting guests. The women of KGW Koziki prepared snacks for the participants; the event was reported on in August 2024.
A grant of 8,000 zł, reported on 11 July 2026, was awarded to the Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich in Koziki for workshops on drying, pickling and pasteurising food.
KOMARO Wojciech Komorowski is based at Koziki 4 and organises active tourism programmes. If you would like to include a specific programme in your plans, check its availability before booking.
