Three distinct interests can be distinguished in Przeźmierowo: the history of the parish, skateboarding at the Orlik grounds and motorsport around Tor Poznań. This combination helps you decide whether you are interested in local history, a specific sports facility or a race track. The religious milestones are marked by several dates; for the skatepark, the facilities matter, while for Tor Poznań, both its opening and the reported status of its use are relevant.
Parish history in three dates
The first religious site in Przeźmierowo was a wooden chapel. From June 1937, services were held there for about 300 parishioners. On 1 August 1957, Archbishop Antoni Baraniak established the parish of Saint Anthony of Padua in Przeźmierowo. The new church in Przeźmierowo was consecrated by Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki on 13 November 2007. The three dates represent different events: 1937 for services in the wooden chapel, 1957 for the establishment of the parish, and 2007 for the consecration of the new church. This makes it possible to distinguish religious practice, institutional development and church consecration, rather than treating all the information as the same type of event.
Skatepark at the Orlik grounds
A skatepark is located at the Orlik grounds in Przeźmierowo and opened in October 2012. The listed features include grind boxes, manual pads, jumps, London gaps, hubbas and walls, as well as walls, ramps, handrails and railings. The wide range of named features makes the skatepark a specific point of interest for skateboarding enthusiasts: you can consider whether a facility with these grind, jump and ramp features is important to you, rather than relying only on a general description of the sport. Please check current access arrangements before visiting.
Tor Poznań: opening and reported status of use
Tor Poznań was officially opened on 1 December 1977. A report by the Polish Ministry of Sport dated 22 April 2026 stated that, on 31 March 2026, the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection upheld the decision of 31 October 2023 to suspend the use of Tor Poznań in Przeźmierowo. The same report said that the race track would remain open following joint measures. The 1977 opening is a historical reference, while the report describes the status of use later, in spring 2026. Please check current access arrangements before visiting.
Three different kinds of information can therefore help with your travel decision: the parish history is understood through its sequence of dates, the skatepark through its specifically listed obstacles, and for Tor Poznań, current visitor access should be checked in addition to the historical date. These distinctions help you weigh cultural history, skateboarding and motorsport as separate interests.
