Grambin has two distinct landscape features: the southern shore of the Szczecin Lagoon and the edge of the UeckermĂĽnde Heath. It is also home to a river mouth and thatched half-timbered houses that are over 200 years old.
Lagoon shore, Zarow River and heathland
Grambin lies on the southern shore of the Szczecin Lagoon and at the edge of the Ueckermünde Heath. The Zarow River flows into the lagoon in Grambin. The river drains part of the Friedländer Große Wiese.
From Grambin, you can set out on excursions along the cycling and hiking trail network through the UeckermĂĽnde Heath. In the wider Vorpommern-Greifswald destination, the heathland is also a place to go horseback riding.
Village character and accommodation
Grambin still has thatched half-timbered houses over 200 years old.
One specifically named accommodation option is Campingpark Oderhaff. The 2024–2025 accommodation directory lists it as covering about 6 hectares. It is located in Grambin, in a pine and birch forest right on the Szczecin Lagoon.
