Fillièvres combines heritage with circular routes on foot and by bike, as well as a fishing stretch on the Canche. If you’re looking for a hotel for your stay, your main plans can help you decide where to stay: a circular route calls for a different time slot than a trip focused on heritage or fishing. The route details provide specific distances and estimated times to help you plan.

Heritage in Fillièvres

The Church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption is a listed attraction. Notre-Dame Church in Fillièvres contains five listed heritage objects: a bell, choir stalls, a group of neo-Gothic furnishings comprising a high altar, two side altars and a pulpit, two chests, and a holy water stoup. The protected holy water stoup dates from the 16th or 17th century. The listed furnishings thus include both individual objects and a group of neo-Gothic elements.

The British Cemetery lies south of Fillièvres, on the road to Frévent (D340). It was established in June 1918 by the 46th Casualties Clearing Station. It contains 81 graves of Commonwealth soldiers from the First World War, including eight unidentified graves, as well as 19 graves of soldiers from the Second World War. The location, date of establishment and number of graves give this cemetery a distinct historical significance among the town’s heritage sites.

Fillièvres’ heritage associated with the Second World War includes infrastructure built by Organisation Todt. Organisation Todt was a German civil and military construction organisation. The infrastructure was intended to facilitate the deployment of V1 rockets. The town’s history therefore includes wartime technical remains as well as religious sites and burial places.

Circular routes and walks

Le Bocage is a 17 km walking loop starting at Place de Fillièvres. The estimated time for the route is 4 hr 15 min. Check the current trail conditions locally before setting out. The distance and estimated time give you a specific starting point for planning, but do not replace checking conditions along the route.

The Sentier Boisé cycling loop is 34 km long, with an estimated duration of 3 hr 25 min. Check the current route distance locally. The two entries describe different types of tours: Le Bocage is a walk, while Sentier Boisé is a cycling route. Compare the mode of travel, distance and estimated duration for each rather than treating the times as directly comparable loop tours.

A municipal notice from 2024 lists outings by the hiking group Les randonneurs de la Canche on the third Saturday of every month and every Wednesday. If you’re planning a group hike, check the latest dates in advance and find out whether visitors can join.

Fishing on the Canche

For the 2026 fishing season, the local fishing association AAPPMA listed a fishing stretch on the Canche in Fillièvres. For that season, the stretch was designated as a first-category fishing water. This fishing stretch added another river-related travel theme to the heritage sites and two circular routes. Alongside the heritage sites and two circular routes, visitors can also choose a specific, named connection to the river as another travel theme.
