Hiking on PR136 and PR137

The PR136 Autour de la Gouise hiking trail starts and ends in Beaune-sur-Arzon. It is 8.0 kilometres long and classified as moderate. PR137 Le plateau de Beaune-sur-Arzon passes through wooded areas, across open viewpoints on the plateau and along the meanders of the Arzon. Near PR137 lies the ruin of the former Moulin d’Inaires mill. This historic trace adds a reference to the site’s former use to the trail’s landscape features.

Facilities at the lakes

There is a children’s playground at Plan d’eau de Beaune-sur-Arzon. The fitness trail is at Plan d’eau d’Argentières and was completely renovated in June 2023. The facilities are at different lakes: this distinction is useful for planning if you specifically want to include a playground or the fitness trail. A Maison de la Faune et de la Flore was established at Plan d’eau d’Argentières in 2021.
