A century after it was established, Tyskerhavnen has retained its atmosphere and authenticity. Fiskeriets Hus focuses on the history of fishing and Hvide Sande, life by the sea and fjord, and the development of the community that grew up around fishing.
Visitors to Fiskeriets Hus can board the vessels and try out the role of a captain. A small treasure hunt takes you through the entire museum: the goal is to find fish and marine animals from the waters around Hvide Sande. The museum is also home to the last surviving original example of an offshore vessel built around 170 years ago.

The Vores Vind exhibition is located near Hvide Sande and covers the history and events surrounding the creation of offshore wind farms in the area.
