The Kořenov–Rejdice ski area is located in Dolní Rejdice, at the transition between the Jizerské hory and Krkonoše mountain ranges. Marked cycling routes and the Ptačí Trail are also worth considering when planning your trip. A good first step is therefore to decide which activity will be the deciding factor. If you want to include the chairlift and ski slopes, the described access roads to the ski area are important. For a bike ride, route numbers and place names provide orientation; for hiking, the starting point and length of the Ptačí Trail are helpful. This makes it possible to set the focus of your stay before comparing the various options in detail.

Skiing and cross-country skiing

The Rejdice ski area has a 700 m-long two-seater chairlift with a vertical drop of 120 m. The lift length and vertical drop are two different measurements that together give a clear picture of the facility. Snowmaking and lighting are also available; the slopes are groomed daily. Grooming is seasonal. Therefore, check the latest information on slope operations before setting off if you are planning your travel dates around skiing. The access road from the main Prague–Harrachov road passes through Plavy, Zlatá Olešnice and Příchovice and leads directly to the chairlift. From above, the area can also be reached via the Příchovice–Vysoké nad Jizerou road; it is immediately beside this road, below the roadway.

Cross-country skiing is a separate winter option. There are three official, well-groomed trails in the immediate vicinity of Rejdice, and a connection to the Jizerskohorská magistrála is also possible. The trails offer a local selection, while the possible connection provides another option for planning a tour. Grooming is seasonal, so check the current trail conditions and the possible connection before setting out on a specific tour.

Marked cycling routes

Cyclists can distinguish between two marked routes by their different reference points. Route 3026 passes through Zlatá Olešnice, Rejdice and Příchovice, providing a sequence of places. Route 4248 leads from Rejdice to the municipality boundary in the direction of Český Šumburk; here, the focus is on the starting point and direction of travel. This offers a concrete comparison when choosing: a route following the named sequence of places, or one starting in Rejdice and heading towards the municipality boundary. Check which of these reference points best fits your planned stops.

The Ptačí Trail

The Ptačí Trail starts right at the Rejdice car park and is less than 4 km long. The trail is 250 m from the Kořenov, Rejdice bus station. The length and the distance to the trail answer different planning questions: How long is the trail, and how far is it from the named bus station? This lets you take the trail length and access point into account separately when planning your day.

Choose accommodation based on the focus of your trip

The information about the ski area concerns access via roads, while the Ptačí Trail is also located by its proximity to the bus station. Before choosing where to stay, check which of these reference points is most relevant to your own journey. For cycling plans, the marked routes provide their own starting points and directions.
