In Radovčići, Kuća Ljubić is a family estate that brings together traditional rural architecture and a long history as a home. It has been continuously used as a residence since the 16th century. The estate includes a Mediterranean garden and a family vineyard—two tangible facets of the rural character embodied by the house in Konavle.

In the wider destination of Općina Konavle
The regional setting differs considerably from the individual offerings in Radovčići: Općina Konavle encompasses a fertile valley extending up to 35 kilometres in length and up to 12 kilometres in width. On the mountain side, the slopes of Snježnica, which rises to 1,234 metres, and Bjelotina frame the landscape. Towards the sea, steep cliffs stretch from Cavtat harbour via Molunat to the Prevlaka peninsula and Cape Oštro.
Hiking trails and horseback rides
The Općina Konavle offers a range of routes for hiking. The 8-kilometre Cavtat–Močići–Čilipi trail passes through the coastal landscape; paths branch off from it to swimming spots along the cliffs. The Ronald Brown Trail starts in Gornji Obod and leads to the summit of Stražišće, at an elevation of 791 metres. Endemic plants and protected animal species can be found along the trail, and the summit offers panoramic views of Cavtat, Konavle, Župa and Dubrovnik. The Konavoske stijene educational trail starts in Popovići and runs for about 4 kilometres above the cliffs. Check local trail conditions before setting out on a hike.
Another option is a half-day horseback ride: Kojan Koral in Popovići organizes rides above the Konavle cliffs, with views of the Adriatic Sea. The stated hiking trail lengths and the duration of this ride offer different points of reference for planning your day.
Archaeology, history and crafts
Fort Sokol is an important fortress dating from the time of the Republic of Ragusa. It was built on the site of earlier Illyrian and Roman fortifications. The fort and the churchyard of Our Lady of Sokol offer views across all of Konavle. Another archaeological site is the Mithraeum in Močići, a sanctuary dedicated to the ancient god Mithras. His cult was widespread in the region from the 2nd to the 4th century.
The Museum of the Konavle Region in Čilipi houses around 500 ethnological objects. These include traditional costumes, embroidery and other textile works, jewellery, weapons, musical instruments and items from everyday life. In Pridvorje, the Franciscan monastery and the Church of St Blaise were built between 1423 and 1429 in the style of the early Dubrovnik Renaissance; the monastery was a pilgrimage site and housed a significant collection of sacred art.
The mill complex on the Ljuta River also offers a glimpse into the region’s craft tradition: it comprises eight flour mills, two oil mills and three fulling mills. The system of so-called lower mills, built after 1550, has survived to this day. The source and upper course of the Ljuta are protected by the state as a nature park; the watermill is protected as a cultural monument.
