Other attractions include the Museu de Cabreúva Lucy Ciola, historic architecture and landscapes: the Atlantic Forest stretches along the Estrada dos Romeiros, while the Mirante da Boa Esperança offers views of Cabreúva’s hills and mountain ranges. Different opening hours and reservation requirements apply to individual visits.
Culture and History in Cabreúva
The Museu de Cabreúva Lucy Ciola opened on September 15, 2025. In its exhibition rooms, objects from the collection tell the story of the city. The building itself is also part of the cultural heritage: it belongs to the historic architectural ensemble in the city center and is considered tangible cultural heritage.
The Matriz Nossa Senhora da Piedade is open for visits Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m. Before your visit, check whether access is available during these hours.
Routes, Views and Landscapes
The Estrada dos Romeiros is used for cycling and motorcycling. Along the route, the Tietê lies on one side, while the biodiverse Atlantic Forest, with its varied flora and fauna, lies on the other. This means the river landscape and the forest can both be seen along the same route. Separately, the section of SP-312 between Cabreúva and Itu is also called the Estrada Parque.
From the Mirante da Boa Esperança, the view extends across Cabreúva’s hills and mountain ranges. The municipality’s landscape also includes the APA Cabreúva, established in 1984 to protect the mountain massif known as Serra do Japi. The protected area was later expanded to include parts of Indaiatuba, Itu and Salto, also protecting the sources of important waterways.
Fazenda Guaxinduva is located in the municipality of Cabreúva. The Guaxinduva Valley is surrounded by waterfalls, streams and viewpoints, from which visitors can take in the vast Japi protected area. Day use is available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Before your visit, check whether these access hours are in effect.
