Sarandi offers a range of points of interest: the Parque Ecológico and rural trails on the one hand, and public art and individual event dates on the other. When choosing where to go, it helps to distinguish place-based topics from dated events. This way, you can decide whether to focus on nature, public spaces or a specific cultural event during your stay.
Park and rural trails
A municipal description dated January 30, 2014, locates the Parque Ecológico de Sarandi at the end of Avenida Brasil, in the valley area behind the Residencial São José III neighborhood. The park covers 58,000 square meters and is presented by the city as an example of ecological revitalization and restoration. This makes it a specific nature destination and provides a precise point of reference within Sarandi. Before visiting, it is advisable to check the current condition of the grounds.
The municipal tourism description dated April 9, 2021, also mentions rural trails of historical and cultural interest, along with varied natural landscapes. This broadens the picture beyond the individual park. If you plan to include trails in your itinerary, check their current condition and signage beforehand.
Squares, skate park and graffiti
Praça da Juventude has a skate park that the city administration described as the largest in the state of Paraná in an inauguration post dated April 13, 2015. A municipal report from June 2023 described the revitalization of the square, including the replacement of the children's playgrounds and the installation of new equipment in the outdoor exercise areas for older adults. Before visiting today, it is worth checking the current condition of the facilities.
During a graffiti project that began on August 29, 2026, artists from different regions of Brazil created works on the walls of Praça CEU; the city reported on the project on September 3. The two squares therefore have different thematic emphases: the graffiti works at Praça CEU, and the skate park, along with the playground and exercise areas described, at Praça da Juventude.
Cultural events and travel planning
The first Festival de Música de Sarandi (FEMUS) took place in Sarandi on August 28 and 29, 2026. On August 23, the Caminhada na Natureza – Circuito Rio Ribeirão Itapuá was held there. In March 2026, the first performance of the play Paixão de Cristo took place at Praça dos Pioneiros. These past events represent different formats: music, a nature hike and theater.
The 2026 Festa Junina was also tied to specific dates: from June 12 to 14, there were stalls selling typical food and drinks at Paróquia São Paulo Apóstolo; a Quadrilha and a Casamento Caipira were also performed. If an event date is a deciding factor in your trip, check whether a current announcement coincides with your travel dates. This makes it possible to consider place-based topics and a possible event program separately when choosing your stay.
